Last year same time, Kastadyne had composed the much-downloaded song "Forget the Government (Live as India)" on the occasion of Independence Day 2007.
This was first aired last August on Radio Mirchi FM by the popular radio RJ Jeeturaj. Here it is!

The smell of monsoon from the month of June
Soon will come winter bringin' in a boon
To the ice on the Himalayas
Water to the Ganga
Wheat on the fields yields food for one another
Beaches on the reaches of every common man
Teachers and preachers like Gandhi in this land
Flora and fauna like the Sunderbans
This is the song of India, do you understand?
CHORUS
Forget the government, summon unity
Forget religion, sub-divisional warheads
Live as India, not a separate sect
Forget the government, summon unity
Forget religion, sub-divisional warheads
Live as India, not a separate sect
VERSE 2
Freedom is a gift from our forefathers
All the soldiers who died for us
"Shasya shyamala mataram
Vande mataram"
Live as India
Unity in diversity, freedom of religion
Preservation of rights, destruction of evil
Land of colour, beautiful people
Love one another, terrorism be killed
[CHORUS AND REPEAT]
Live as India

Suyash: Hi, Keeping this really short. Am looking for a rock band to compose a song for an internet venture I am starting. I don't understand a lot of music, but love your sound so though I'd drop in a line. Would love to have you compose the song (Not too sure if we can afford you guys though :)) Looking forward to hearing from you. Cheers!
