In a faraway secluded fishing village 70 km from Mumbai
Kastadyne recordings at Uttan

Kastadyne transported most of their studio equipment and recorded a couple of songs atop a house on a hill with a sea-view in a fishing village called Uttan, about 70 km from central Mumbai. With 24-hour electricity and round the clock silence, the house was perfect for inspiration and creative work. The 2 songs created and recorded here from scratch: "Digging deep down" a steady pulse, classic rock style song with a thumbs-snapping chorus; and "Leecher" with a toy piano motif and jazz-style drums. Alternative rock, anyone? The second album from Kastadyne promises much...
